The tracker and calendar
The Tracker shows every sequence you launched as a card with its send plan. The Calendar shows the same sends as a month, so you can see what went out, what is booked and what is still an estimate.

Once you launch a sequence on Sequences, it leaves the review queue and starts running on its schedule. The Tracker is where you follow it: one card per launched sequence, with what went out, what sends next and when, what came back, and which ones need you. The Calendar reads the same sends as a month grid, for the question "what is going out this week?".
Both are steps of their own in the Outreach strip. After Opportunities, Sequences, Inbox and Outcomes come "Tracker" and "Calendar". Neither shows drafts: drafts are signed off and launched on Sequences (see Reviewing and launching), and replies are answered in the inbox.
The Tracker
The page opens with the title "Tracker" and its explainer, "About the Tracker", plus the same "Set up" menu as Sequences ("Auto-promote & reply rules", "Templates", "Outreach prompt", "Mailboxes"). Under it: a row of filters, a "List" / "Month" switch, and the cards. The cards sit in one column on a narrow screen, two on a laptop and three on a very wide screen.
What each card tells you
- The page. Its title opens the page's detail drawer. The arrow beside it ("Open the page") opens the page itself in a new tab.
- Who and from where. One line with the domain, "to" the person you are pitching, the page's 0 to 100 priority, and "from" the mailbox the sequence sends from. Under it, the person's role and where their address came from: "Published on the page", "Found", "Added by hand", or "Guessed from their pattern" with a warning mark, because a guessed address was never seen written and may bounce.
- "Sent N of M". How many emails went out, out of the steps in the sequence. Skipped, failed and delivery-unknown steps do not count; one you record as sent does.
- The status chip. "Sending", "Paused", "Replied", "Bounced", "Completed", "Stopped", or "In conversation · follow-ups off" when they replied or you wrote by hand. A "Resumes 3 Oct" chip means an out-of-office reply paused the sequence and it resumes on its own the working day after they are back. A "Needs you" chip means a decision waits for you.
- The step rail. One segment per email ("Initial", "Follow-up 1", "Follow-up 2" and so on), each with a mark and a date: a check mark for sent, a filled dot for booked, a ring for still to come, a question mark for delivery unknown, a warning mark for failed and a curved arrow for skipped. Dates marked "(est)" are estimates that can move. While the sequence is live, the segment that is up next is animated.
- The next-send line. "Follow-up 1 sends 3 Oct 09:00", in the mailbox's time zone. "(queued)" beside it means the time shown is later than the time the email was booked for, because the mailbox's daily cap and the emails queued ahead are holding it back. When an email's delivery is unknown, the line reads "Nothing more sends until you decide on follow-up 1."
- The reply line. The tone of their latest reply ("Positive", "Neutral", "Negative"), the fee they asked for if any, the reason the sequence needs you, in words, and the AI's one-line summary of what they said (or their first words, quoted).
- "About this page". A fold with everything else known about the page, loaded when you open it.
- Unresolved sends. An email that failed or whose delivery is unknown gets its own block, with what the mail provider said in plain language and, for delivery unknown, the two exits described below.
Filters
Each filter shows its count. "Needs you" turns amber while it holds anything. The "Sequence statuses" explainer beside the filters doubles as the legend for the card chips.
| Filter | What it holds |
|---|---|
| All | Every launched sequence |
| Needs you | Waiting on you: a bounce, a failed send, an email whose delivery is unknown, a paused sequence with nothing to resume it, or a reply nobody has decided on |
| Sending | Live on its schedule, so the next email really goes |
| Sent | At least one email went out |
| Replied | Stopped by their reply (bounces do not count) |
| Done | Every step sent, or stopped by hand |
"Sending" and "Sent" answer different questions. A sequence you launched can wait days for its send window to open, so it is Sending before it is Sent. A sequence in conversation is not under Sending, because nothing more goes on its own.
What you can do from a card
- "Pause" holds a sending sequence. "Resume sending" puts a paused or replied sequence back on its schedule. If you are already talking to the person, a confirmation, "You are already talking to them", says which email would go and asks "Send anyway?". "Keep paused" changes nothing.
- "Send now" sends the next email at once, outside the send window and the daily cap. It is not offered while you are in conversation or while an email's delivery is unknown.
- "Stop" asks first: "Stop the sequence to <Name>?" says which emails will not send, and that a stopped sequence cannot be resumed. "Keep the sequence" or "Stop sequence".
- The "Sends" chip changes this sequence's timing: its days, time of day and, before anything has gone out, its start date. See Sending schedule and limits.
- "Edit upcoming (N)" opens an editor for the emails that have not sent yet. Changing a wait moves its send date. An email already booked to send can be edited but not rewritten.
- "It was sent" and "It wasn't, send it" sit on an email whose delivery is unknown. The first records it as sent and books the follow-up, sending nothing. The second queues it to send again in the next send window. Check the Sent folder in the mailbox first.
The Calendar
The Calendar step opens Sequences on In flight as a month. The same month is behind the "List" / "Month" switch at the right end of the queue head on In flight, Sending, In conversation, Replied, Done and No reply ("Month: the send plan as a calendar, sent, booked and estimated."). Needs you has no month: its rows wait on you, not on a date. Neither do All and the draft stages. When a stage has nothing live to plot, the "Month" button is off and says "Nothing under <stage> to put on a month yet."
The Tracker has the same switch, and its month plots whatever the current filter holds.
What the month shows
- A Monday-first grid of the month, with today tinted. "Previous month" and "Next month" arrows move through time.
- Each send sits on its day, named by the publisher's domain: "✓" and gray for sent, a filled tint for booked, a dashed outline for estimated. A day with more than three sends folds the rest under "+N more".
- Press a send to open it. On Sequences that opens the sequence's window; on the Tracker it opens the page's detail drawer.
- A sequence in conversation plots only what was sent. No date is promised for an email that will not go on its own. The Tracker's month does the same for a sequence with an email whose delivery is unknown.
- On a phone the month reads as an agenda, day by day, with the email and "Sent", "Booked" or "Estimated" under each send (the Tracker's month says "Scheduled" for a booked one). A month with nothing in it says "No sends in this month."
How to find out why an email has not gone yet
- Open the Tracker and find the card. "Sending" lists what is live; "Needs you" lists what waits on you.
- Read the card's next-send line. A time with "(queued)" means the mailbox's daily cap or the queue ahead is holding it; hover "(queued)" for the time it was booked.
- If the card says "Nothing more sends until you decide on ...", check the Sent folder in the mailbox, then press "It was sent" or "It wasn't, send it".
- If the chip reads "In conversation · follow-ups off", nothing more sends on its own. Answer them in the inbox. Where the card offers "Resume sending", you can press it and choose "Send anyway" to send the follow-up regardless.
How to change an upcoming email
- Find the card and press "Edit upcoming (N)".
- Edit the subject or body of any email that has not sent, and the wait of a follow-up (0 to 30 days after the previous email; 0 means the same day). An email that is not booked yet also offers "Rewrite this email". A booked one can be edited, not rewritten.
- Press "Save step" under each email you changed. A changed wait moves that email's date on the rail and the month.
- Press "Close editor" to fold the editor away. Closing it does not save.
Limits
- The Tracker lists the 300 most recently active sequences and says so under the list when it hits that cap. Older sequences are not listed.
- "Send now" on a card, like "Launch & send now" when you launch, goes past the send window and the daily cap. Each is one explicit press of yours.
Good to know
- An out-of-office pause with a resume date is not "Needs you". It resumes on its own.
- A bounced sequence counts as Needs you. A reply counts as Needs you until you triage it in the inbox.
- "Resume sending" is refused while an email's delivery is unknown. Decide on that email first.
- If the Tracker fails to draw, the screen says "The Tracker didn't load." with "Try again" and "Open Sequences". What you last did was saved, and the "ref" line under it is what to give support if it keeps happening.
- What you win from these sequences lands under Outcomes in Reports, not here. See Fees, placements and wins.
