Posts, replies and listings

Replies, new posts, listings and profile claims drafted for the pages you promote. You post each one from your own account and mark it done with its link; nothing is posted for you.

Updated October 18, 2026Markdown

The Posts view is the Outreach page's sibling for everything that is not an email. When you promote a cited thread, a Q&A page, a directory or a review platform, nothing is emailed to that site's staff. The autopilot drafts what you would post there instead: a reply in the thread, a new post for the community, or the copy for a directory listing or a review profile. You open the page, post from your own account and mark it done with its link. Nothing is posted for you.

What you see

Once a project has ever had a post drafted, the Outreach header shows an "Emails" and "Posts" switch, with the number of open drafts on "Posts". The view is a queue on the left and one window on the right.

  • Stages. Three tabs with counts: "To do", "Done" and "Skipped".
  • Rows. Grouped "Replies", "New posts", "Listings" and "Profiles", newest activity first. Each row names the page, the kind ("Reply", or "Answer" on a Q&A site such as Quora, "New post", "Listing", "Profile"), where it lands (a subreddit such as r/dentistry, or the site) and what happened last: "Drafted 3 Oct", "You posted it on 3 Oct" or "You submitted it on 3 Oct. Waiting for its link."
  • The window. The page title opens the detail panel; the site's address beside it opens the page. "Score" is the page's 0 to 100 priority for outreach; the "Priority score" hint in the detail panel names the reasons. The lead line says the job ("Reply in r/dentistry", "List <Brand> on Yell", "Claim <Brand>’s profile on Trustpilot") with the way in beside it ("Open the thread", "Open Yell’s form"). A subreddit also gets "Read r/dentistry’s rules".

The draft

A reply is one text box; a new post has a title field above the post. Edits save when you leave a field.

A listing or profile is a form: "Business name", "Tagline", "Short description", "Full description", "Categories", "Services" and "Website", each with its own "Copy". On a platform the app knows, the fields carry that platform's own labels. Only the fields the form asks for now are shown; "Show all fields" opens the rest. A "Still needed on the form" line lists what you add yourself, such as your address, phone and hours. Only facts from your outreach prompt are used, so nothing about the business is invented.

One guidance line sits under the editor. A reply or new post: post it yourself, from your own account at the brand, never one account for several clients, and keep the disclosure line. A listing: add your contact details on the platform's form yourself, written the same way on every listing. A profile: "Claim the profile and paste this copy. Never write, buy or edit reviews.", plus the platform's own rule on inviting reviews (only through its own tool or program, never for a reward; or not at all).

The disclosure line

Every new post, and every reply that names the brand, carries a line such as "Disclosure: I work with <Brand>." A post that names the brand without saying who wrote it is hidden promotion, and most communities ban it.

A reply or new post that does not name the brand shows "Doesn’t name <Brand>, so it won’t count as a win." You can still post it; it is recorded as sent.

More on a draft

The "More actions" menu on a draft offers "Rewrite" (with an optional note on what to say or leave out), "Paste the thread" on a reply or new post (used for this one draft only), "New post" on a thread, and "Skip". Skip moves the draft under "Skipped" with nothing sent and nothing counted. "Reopen" on a done or skipped post brings it back under "To do" with its words. A done post still counts as sent, and any win it made stays; you remove a win on the wins screen.

How to post a reply in a cited thread

  1. Promote the thread, or let a rule promote it. Under Outreach, switch to "Posts". The draft waits under "To do".
  2. Read the lead line and the guidance. For a subreddit, open "Read r/dentistry’s rules".
  3. If a note says the site blocks automated reads, the draft was written from the thread's title and the AI answers that cite it. Choose "Paste the thread" for a sharper draft.
  4. Press "Copy and open". It copies the text and opens the thread. Post from your own account and keep the disclosure line.
  5. Paste the link to your post. On Reddit, paste the link to your comment itself: open it from your profile and copy the address from the browser. A share link or the thread's link is refused.
  6. Press "Mark as posted". The post moves to "Done".

How to submit a listing or claim a profile

  1. Promote the directory or review page. Its draft waits under "To do", its fields filled from your outreach prompt.
  2. On a platform the app knows, open the explainer beside the way in ("About Yell’s form", or "About Trustpilot’s claim page" for a profile) for what the form asks, what it takes later, its cost and how it verifies you. Read the "Still needed on the form" line.
  3. Press "Open the form" or "Open the profile". On the platform, paste each field with its "Copy" and add your contact details yourself.
  4. Press "Mark as submitted" or "Mark as claimed". The link is optional here, since the platform may show the listing only later.
  5. When it shows, open the post under "Done", paste the link into "Link to your listing" or "Link to your public profile" and press "Count it as a win".

What counts as a win

Marking a post done is also how it becomes a win in your report; the toast after the press says which it was.

KindLink at the pressCounts as a win when
Reply, Answer or New postRequiredThe post names the brand. It counts from the day you marked it.
ListingOptional, added later from "Done"Its public link is added.
ProfileOptional, added later from "Done"Its public link is added and the page did not name the brand before.

The link must be on that site and public. A page only you can see when signed in is refused, and so is a link to a Reddit profile. When a win cannot be counted at once, the toast says so, for example "It counts as a win in your report by tomorrow morning."

Under "Done" the band reads "You posted this on 3 Oct" with the link and "Counts as a win". Until an automated check finds the post online it also reads "Unconfirmed online": Reddit can take a while to check, and Quora and Facebook groups cannot be checked at all. It still counts as your win, and it shows as live and verified once a check finds it. See Wins and verification.

Held pages

Some cited pages get no draft, and nothing is emailed to the site. The detail panel says why, leading with what you can do:

  • A social post, a video or a creator page: "Reach the author directly: a <Site> post is theirs, so nothing is drafted here and nothing is emailed to <Site>."
  • A wiki (written by its volunteers under their own rules) or a code host (reach the maintainers through the project itself).
  • A site that removes AI-written posts: "Answer it yourself, in your own words." A forum that does not allow business posts: "Join in as yourself, without the brand."
  • An archived thread, which no longer takes replies.

Limits

  • At most 3 posts are drafted per site per project per day, whoever promotes the page. A page past the cap waits until tomorrow.
  • Autopilot drafts at most 10 posts and listings a day for each project. A page you promote yourself from Opportunities is not held by that cap.
  • A Reddit thread old enough to be archived, so it no longer takes replies, gets no reply draft.
  • Each stage lists up to 300 posts.

Good to know

  • Switch a channel off under "Set up", then "Auto-promote & reply rules", under Steering: "Community posts" or "Listings". Off reads "Off: nothing is drafted and nothing is dealt." See Auto-promotion and reply rules.
  • The same open drafts are dealt as post cards in the deck, one per page.
