How this tool worksSamples the selected engines once each for your question. Completed answers, citations and failures are reported separately. This recent snapshot does not establish visibility over time and may differ from results seen in personal chats because timing, model and context can change.
Read the buyer’s answer
How do the answers describe the buying decision?
Ask a buyer question and choose Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or all three. Each selected engine is sampled once per run. Compare the complete answers, matched brand mentions and cited websites.
For a volunteer team, shared ownership and deadlines may shape the choice more than a broad software category. Read how each answer handles those needs, then choose a difference to investigate in your content. This supports generative engine optimization research with a specific question and snapshot.
A practical workflow
How to use the GEO visibility checker
Enter a brand and a buyer question
Use the exact brand name and a question that reflects a real decision. Add the brand website for cited-domain matching.
Select the engines and context
Choose Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or all three, then country and language. Run the snapshot with the same question across selected engines.
Read, compare and save the evidence
Inspect the complete answers and sources. Keep failed engines distinct, and record the question and timestamp with any conclusions.
Compare the answers to one buying decision
A fictional Harbor review asks how planning tools could help a volunteer team share ownership and deadlines.
Which planning tools help volunteers share ownership and deadlines?
Use the audience and constraint that shape the decision. Keep the question neutral when checking whether the brand arises unaided.
Read the comparison
Look at how each answer frames the need
Compare the constraints each answer emphasizes, the options it discusses and the sources it cites. A mention tells you that the name appeared; its surrounding sentence tells you how it was used.
Choose one difference to investigate. Review whether your page explains the relevant use case, open an interesting source or prepare a new question about a different buying constraint.
A question-led visibility review
Compare the answers. Choose the next question.
Choose a buying constraint, compare completed answers and turn an observation into a focused content review.
Make the question specific enough to be useful
Include the need or constraint that shapes a buyer’s decision. Keep the question neutral if you want to observe whether the brand arises without being named in the prompt.

Method and scope
What the snapshot can establish
Name matching uses word boundaries and website matching covers the supplied host and subdomains. Aliases and recommendation strength are not inferred. Completed answers and failures stay separate, so unavailable engines never count as absent brands.
Claude uses its API with web search; ChatGPT and Gemini use provider-mediated consumer snapshots. Grounding evidence differs, and source links alone do not verify fresh Gemini searches. This standalone tool does not calculate visibility share or maintain a history; full reports are a separate workflow.

Questions, answered
GEO visibility checker: your questions answered
A closer look at the inputs, method and next steps.
What does GEO mean in this tool?
GEO refers to generative engine optimization. This checker supports research into AI answers by showing sampled responses, brand mentions and source links for a specific buyer question.
Does it produce a GEO score?
No. It reports observable counts and answer evidence within the requested snapshot. It does not turn those results into a universal score, market share or ranking.
Is this the same as a full AI visibility report?
No. This standalone checker samples Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini for one question. Full reports are a separate workflow with their own scope. Read this output as evidence from the selected engines only.
Should I include my brand in the question?
Use a neutral, unbranded question when you want to observe whether the name arises unaided. A branded question is valid for a different investigation, but its mentions have a different meaning.
What if my brand is missing from every completed answer?
It was not matched in those answers for that question and snapshot. That does not establish absence across all questions, models or future responses, and it does not explain the cause.
Will the same question always produce the same output?
No. Answers and sources vary. Keep the question, engines, market and timestamp with your observations.
What can I improve after reviewing the output?
Look for a specific, verifiable content question: whether your page explains a relevant use case, whether a source has useful context, or whether another buying constraint deserves investigation. The snapshot cannot guarantee an optimization outcome.
