The output is an editable llms.txt starting point inspired by the proposed convention. It is assembled deterministically rather than written by an AI model. Review its title, description and destinations before deciding whether and where to publish it.

Enter one public HTML URL
Choose a page that represents the information you want to include. The fetch does not sign in, execute JavaScript or crawl linked pages.
Add a description when useful
Explain what the site offers and which public material matters. This optional text overrides the fetched meta description in the generated introduction.
Review, download and publish yourself
Inspect every destination and edit llms.txt. If you adopt the convention, serve the reviewed file as UTF-8 text at the site root.
How selection works
The generator starts with links it can actually observe.
Candidates must share the fetched page’s origin and have useful anchor text. The selection filters common account, authentication, checkout and similar paths, excludes query-string URLs and removes fragment-based duplicates. Documentation, guides, help and related reference paths receive preference.
These rules are practical filters, not a security review or content-quality assessment. A useful page may be missing from the source navigation. A selected page may be outdated or inaccessible. Treat the result as a first editorial pass and verify the final list yourself.
A proposed convention
Keep llms.txt separate from established access controls.
Publishing a reference file does not replace robots.txt, a sitemap, authentication or clear HTML content. It does not grant access to private material and should not include confidential destinations. Adoption and interpretation of llms.txt vary across systems.
The generator does not claim full conformance with every evolving extension of the proposal. It creates a simple Markdown file with an introduction, source-page overview and selected links. Use the proposal’s documentation when deciding how the convention fits your site.

Does an AI model write the file?
No. The tool assembles Markdown from observed headings, metadata, your optional description and selected links. It does not invent site facts or call a generative model for this tool.
How many pages does it inspect?
One source page. It may include up to 20 additional same-origin link candidates, but their destinations are not fetched or verified.
Why are some links missing?
The selection is limited and filters common account or transactional paths, query-string URLs and weak labels. Links absent from the source page cannot be discovered. Add useful public destinations during review.
Can I supply my own site description?
Yes. The optional field accepts up to 1,500 input characters. The file’s introduction is cleaned and shortened to at most 240 characters, so inspect the resulting summary before publishing.
Does Generate publish llms.txt on my site?
No. It returns a downloadable file and a suggested location. You control the final edits and publication through your own website or deployment process.
Will the file guarantee AI citations?
No. A published file does not guarantee discovery, crawling, training use, retrieval or citation. Those outcomes depend on systems and decisions this generator does not measure.
Can it replace my sitemap or robots.txt?
No. These files serve different purposes. Keep your sitemap and crawl policy appropriate to the site, and use authentication for private content regardless of any reference file.
What should I check before uploading it?
Verify the title, summary, link labels and each destination. Remove irrelevant or restricted material, add omitted public documentation and confirm that the file is served correctly after publication.
