How this tool worksCompares claims in sampled AI answers with extracted text from your supplied evidence page. Supported and contradicted findings require matching excerpts; statements without sufficient evidence remain unverified. This is a limited page comparison, not independent certification of every fact about the business.
Check claims against supplied evidence
See what the official page can and cannot verify
Enter your brand, a question about it and the official product, pricing or policy page that contains the facts you want to check. The tool compares claims in recent sampled answers with the readable text from that single supplied page.
Supported and contradicted findings require both an answer excerpt and relevant page evidence. When the page does not settle a statement, the claim stays unverified. Missing evidence is not a falsehood, and this limited comparison is not an independent certification of every fact about the brand.
Put the evidence beside the status
This fictional plan-feature example shows how an answer claim, official-page excerpt and review status belong together.
“Two-step review is included on every plan.”
Preserve the claim’s exact wording and context. The classification should never replace the answer excerpt.
Claim, evidence, status
Review each answer claim beside the official source
This fictional Harbor example illustrates the three states without presenting them as live findings.
Choose one page that can answer the question
Use a public official page with specific, current facts. A broad homepage may leave a detailed feature or pricing claim unresolved.

A practical workflow
How to use the AI brand accuracy checker
Choose a fact-rich official page
Use the one public page most likely to settle the product, pricing or policy details in your question.
Ask a narrow question about the brand
Name the subject and audience clearly, then choose ChatGPT, Gemini or both with the relevant market settings.
Review excerpts before status labels
Check answer and official-page evidence together. Investigate every unverified or contradicted item before correcting public copy.
Evidence rules
A status is only as broad as the supplied page
The checker evaluates claims against the text it can extract from one official page. A supported status means that page backs the specific claim; it does not validate unrelated statements in the answer. A contradiction requires direct conflicting evidence rather than an omitted detail.
An unverified result is often actionable because it identifies a claim that needs a different source, a narrower question or human review. Preserve the paired excerpts so a product or policy owner can judge the context.
Match the subject
Confirm the answer and page discuss the same feature, plan, region, audience and time period.
Read exact wording
Keep the answer excerpt and official excerpt together so qualifiers remain visible.
Escalate uncertainty
Use an unverified result to request a better source or expert review, not to allege an error.
Method and scope
What this accuracy check does not establish
The comparison uses recent sampled answers and only the official URL you provide. It does not cover private records, customer data, unpublished policies or every page on your website. It cannot confirm whether the supplied page itself is complete or current.
Answers vary over time and by collection context. Keep the question, selected engines, requested and completed counts, market, timestamp and source URL with any finding. Treat suggestions for follow-up as suggestions rather than additional evidence.
GEO visibility checker
Compare how three AI engines answer the same buyer question and describe your brand.
AI citation content brief
Compare your page with sources cited in AI answers and turn observed gaps into an editing brief.
Brand sentiment checker
Review the tone of a current sample of brand-related search coverage.
Questions, answered
AI brand accuracy checker: your questions answered
A closer look at the inputs, method and next steps.
What kind of official page should I use?
Choose a public first-party page that states the facts in your question, such as a product, pricing, policy or help page. The checker inspects only that URL.
Does unverified mean the AI answer is false?
No. It means the supplied page does not provide enough readable evidence to support or contradict that claim.
What is required for a contradicted finding?
The result needs a relevant answer excerpt and official-page excerpt that conflict on the same subject. A missing statement on the page is not enough.
Can this check every fact about my brand?
No. It is a bounded comparison between sampled answers and one supplied page. Other facts may require other official sources or subject-matter review.
What if the official page cannot be extracted?
The evidence is unavailable, so claims cannot be classified from that page. Try a readable public page or review the claim manually.
Will ChatGPT and Gemini always make the same claims?
No. Their answers can differ and can change between runs. Read each completed answer and keep unavailable engines separate.
Does the tool update an incorrect AI answer?
No. It creates a reviewable comparison. It does not edit engine responses, submit corrections or publish changes to your site.
