# Plans and limits

> What Brand, Growth, Agency and Enterprise include, how each limit counts and what happens when you reach one. When a plan is smaller than what you track, nothing is deleted: you choose what stays and the rest is paused.

Your plan sets how much your workspace can track and run: projects, tracked prompts, AI engines, mailboxes, and the monthly and daily allowances behind outreach. Each workspace holds one plan and one bill. Projects, prompts, mailboxes and teammates all count toward the workspace, never toward a person.

You compare plans on the [pricing page](https://www.sourcesignal.ai/pricing) and choose or change yours in Settings, then Billing. Owners and admins make every plan change. Members see the same numbers, and their link reads "See plan" instead of "Manage plan".

## Prices

Prices are per month. Yearly billing gives you 2 months free and is charged once a year.

| Plan | Monthly | Yearly, per month |
|---|---|---|
| Brand | $99 · €99 · £69 | $79 · €79 · £49 |
| Growth | $299 · €299 · £219 | $239 · €239 · £169 |
| Agency | $999 · €999 · £749 | $799 · €799 · £599 |
| Enterprise | Bespoke | Bespoke |

In US dollars, a yearly plan is billed $948 (Brand), $2,868 (Growth) or $9,588 (Agency) a year. Your first plan fixes your currency: Billing then reads "Billed in USD" (or EUR, or GBP), and every later change stays in it. Enterprise has no checkout and is set up with you. Press "Book a demo" on the pricing page: it opens an email to the support team.

> **Tip:** On the pricing page, drag the "Prompts to track" and "Brands to track" sliders. "Your best fit" names a plan, its price and what it covers.

## Features

| Feature | Brand | Growth | Agency | Enterprise |

Every plan includes the weekly report. The reports tier is how you can share it. Content gaps are open on every plan, and "Content plan outlines and drafts" adds the outline, the draft and the download. Without the deep dive, setup reads your homepage. Your own agent connects over MCP on every plan, with a token from Settings, Agents (see [Connect your own agent over MCP](https://www.sourcesignal.ai/docs/spot-and-agents/connect-your-own-agent-over-mcp.md)); a custom API for your own systems is an Enterprise conversation.

## How each limit counts

- **Projects.** One project is one brand or client you track. Archived projects and projects paused by your plan do not count.
- **Tracked prompts.** One pool shared by every project in the workspace, split as you like. A prompt counts once, however many engines answer it. Removed prompts, and prompts in archived or plan-paused projects, do not count.
- **AI engines per project.** Each project chooses its own engines, up to your plan's count. They are not shared across projects.
- **Email verifications.** One unit is one saved contact getting its first verification verdict. The check counts, not the result. Re-checking a contact that already has a verdict does not count again.
- **Pages researched per project per day.** The pages one project can research each day to find the person to pitch. A publisher researched recently is reused without a new search.
- **Connected outreach inboxes.** The Gmail, Outlook or IMAP inboxes outreach sends from, including any still connecting or waiting to be reconnected.

Projects, prompts and mailboxes are plan caps: their meters read "Plan limit · does not reset". Email verifications and opportunities count from the first of the calendar month (UTC) and start again on the first of the next. Research pages count from 00:00 UTC each day. [Usage](https://www.sourcesignal.ai/docs/account-and-billing/usage.md) explains the meters.

## What happens at a limit

When a meter in Billing reaches 80% of a limit, its bar turns to the warning color. For an owner or admin, Billing also shows a line such as "Upgrade: you’re at 80%+ of your tracked prompts". At the limit itself, each one says what stopped and how to get past it.

- **Projects.** A new project is refused: "Your Growth plan allows 5 projects. Upgrade to add more." Archiving a project frees its place.
- **Tracked prompts.** Adding, importing or restoring past the pool is refused, with the count in use: "Your Growth plan tracks 200 prompts across all projects (198 in use). Upgrade or remove some to add 3 more."
- **AI engines.** Choosing more than your count is refused: "Your Brand plan tracks 3 AI engines per project (you picked 4). Upgrade to Growth or remove 1." After a move to a smaller plan, the extra engines read "Paused: over your plan" in the project's settings, under AI engines. They are kept until you drop one or upgrade.
- **Mailboxes.** Connecting another is refused: "Your Growth plan allows 7 mailboxes. Upgrade to connect more." When more are connected than the plan covers, the ones connected first send. The rest read "Not sending: over your plan’s mailbox limit", stay connected and still receive replies.
- **Email verifications.** Once the month's are used, new checks are refused until the first of next month, and contact research waits with them.
- **Pages researched.** Past the day's number, Autopilot's pages wait for the next day. Once today's pages are used, research you start is refused with a line that ends "Research picks up again at 00:00 UTC." If only a few are left, you are asked to select that many or fewer.
- **Deep dive and content plan.** On Brand you read "The deep dive is on Growth, Agency and Enterprise." with "Upgrade to Growth", and "Content plan outlines and drafts are on Growth, Agency and Enterprise."

## Projects and prompts paused by your plan

Before you move to a plan smaller than what you track, the "What stays" picker opens. You choose the projects that stay, then the tracked prompts that stay. It starts with your most recently active projects and your most cited prompts. Everything you do not keep is paused on the day the change takes effect.

> **Note:** Nothing is deleted. A paused project or prompt keeps everything it found, replies still arrive, and it no longer counts toward your limits.

Here is where paused items show:

- A paused project carries the banner "This project is paused so your plan fits. Replies still arrive and nothing is lost."
- On the Prompts page, a closed list "Paused by your plan (N)" holds the paused prompts. They have no Restore button there.
- Billing reads, for example, "1 project is paused so your plan fits, with nothing lost. Choose what stays to bring some back." If you are over a limit, it reads "230 of 200 tracked prompts. Choose what stays."

Paused items come back in two ways. Move to a bigger plan, and paused projects and prompts return into the room it adds, most recently active projects and most cited prompts first. Or choose them yourself in "What stays". Removing other prompts does not bring paused ones back on its own.

### Bring paused items back

1. Open Settings, then Billing. You need to be an owner or admin.
2. Press "What stays".
3. Check the projects and prompts you want back. Uncheck others if the plan has no room.
4. Press "Save what stays". Billing confirms "You chose what stays. Nothing was deleted." Your bill does not change.

## Good to know

- **The trial** runs for 14 days on Growth's limits, with up to 3 mailboxes and 5 seats (members and pending invites). The deep dive waits for a paid plan. See [Trial and billing](https://www.sourcesignal.ai/docs/account-and-billing/trial-and-billing.md).
- **Upgrades** apply at once, at a price you see before you pay. **Downgrades** take effect at the end of your billing period, after you choose what stays. One change can be booked at a time.
- **Add-ons**, when on sale, give recurring extra capacity on a monthly paid plan, from the "Add-ons" card in Billing. Each change is prorated onto your next invoice.
- **A managed plan** reads "Your plan is managed by us. Contact support to change it." It has no checkout or plan change in the app.
- **Your own agent** connected over MCP reads the same room: what is used of each limit and what the next plan lifts. It can tell you in one line when an answer is thin for that reason, and it never changes your plan. See [Connect your own agent over MCP](https://www.sourcesignal.ai/docs/spot-and-agents/connect-your-own-agent-over-mcp.md).
